Job Summary

Waterfront Computer Company Inc. is currently seeking a part-time marketing assistant. The successful candidate will have experience in growing local social media following, graphic design, and and general understanding of inbound lead generation strategies. This is a 4 month term position with the possibility of extension depending on results/outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working under the direction of management:
    • assist with developing social media schedules
    • create social media posts
    • Monitor local social media to help improve local audience engagement and protect/grow
    • Update company website content
    • Create digital and print-ready marketing materials

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of social media engagement strategies
  • Experience with Canva or similar content creation tools
  • Excellent English communication is essential
  • Marketing focused Post-secondary education would be an asset

Work Conditions & Benefits:

  • 15 hours per week
  • In-office (NOT remote)
  • Flexible schedule
