Job Summary
Waterfront Computer Company Inc. is currently seeking a part-time marketing assistant. The successful candidate will have experience in growing local social media following, graphic design, and and general understanding of inbound lead generation strategies. This is a 4 month term position with the possibility of extension depending on results/outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working under the direction of management:
- assist with developing social media schedules
- create social media posts
- Monitor local social media to help improve local audience engagement and protect/grow
- Update company website content
- Create digital and print-ready marketing materials
Qualifications & Experience:
- Ability to follow instructions
- Attention to detail
- Solid understanding of social media engagement strategies
- Experience with Canva or similar content creation tools
- Excellent English communication is essential
- Marketing focused Post-secondary education would be an asset
Work Conditions & Benefits:
- 15 hours per week
- In-office (NOT remote)
